The Town of Keene Highway Department started construction on the road that circles the grounds.  When this is complete, the survey and plot marking can begin, and when that is complete, we can begin selling plots.  Thanks for your patience while this project continues and more updates will follow.

Thank you so much to all the volunteers who showed up at Marcy Field on Monday and to those who couldn’t attend but contributed. Over 50 volunteers worked with their bare hands, with rakes, and with shovels to replace sod, level out rough spots, and fill in ruts. There were many Keene residents, both summer and year-round, as well as residents from Lake Placid, Wilmington, Essex, Saranac Lake, Queensbury, and the rest of Essex County. Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and a willingness to help with the damage to Marcy Field.  Insurance is not covering the damage, so we are ready to proceed with some work. Monday July 24th at 10 am we are going to begin temporary repairs to the field and runway.  We would like to invite anyone who is available to come and help replace turf and do some raking.  These temporary repairs will allow events like the summer concert series, capture the flag, and Kitefest to proceed.  Due to the weather and the busy Ironman weekend, I don't think we [...]
