SUPERVISORS REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 12/9/2022 Hello everyone! It is an exciting week in Wilmington as we prepare for the 15 th Annual Christmas Celebration this Friday December 9 th . Our Santa Gift Parade kicks off at 4:30 pm. There is a parade route listed on our Facebook page. At 7:15 pm, the Fireworks will kick off with a little extra pop to celebrate Wilmington’s Bicentennial. Preston Festival field on Springfield Road will be a great location for Fireworks viewing. Our Christmas Committee has been very busy compiling the delivery list for the Santa Gift parade for next Friday December 9 th . If you would like to make sure your child is on the list, please call the town offices at 518-946-7174. Also, if anyone wants to be part of the parade, decorate your vehicle and join us. SUPERVISORS REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 11-18-2022 Hello everyone. Hope you survived our first seasonal snowfall without any issues. As the season changes, our town crew is busy placing our Holiday decorations around the town. It certainly drives home the sense of community as Wilmington transforms into a winter wonderland. Also in the works is the preparation of the skating rink in the town park. Of course, Mother Nature will need to cooperate with colder temperatures. We will keep you posted on an official opening.
