Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and a willingness to help with the damage to Marcy Field.  Insurance is not covering the damage, so we are ready to proceed with some work. Monday July 24th at 10 am we are going to begin temporary repairs to the field and runway.  We would like to invite anyone who is available to come and help replace turf and do some raking.  These temporary repairs will allow events like the summer concert series, capture the flag, and Kitefest to proceed.  Due to the weather and the busy Ironman weekend, I don't think we [...]

SUPERVISOR'S REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 7/14/2023  Hello Wilmington! I hope everyone is surviving all this weird weather we have been experiencing lately. Like many areas, Essex County was under a "State Of Emergency" due to the most recent storm. Fortunately for our community, we did not have that much water damage or soil erosion at this point. Of course we continue to monitor areas of concern and remain diligent.  Congratulations and Good Luck to the Wilmington Summer Youth Program as they started their first day of programs this week. Anyone denied by the Water Superintendent before July 7th is eligible to appeal.  The last day to appeal to the Town Board is July 21st.  Decisions on appeals will take place at the August 8th regular board meeting.  Appeals must be submitted in writing and dropped off at the Town Hall.
