Wilmington Christmas Celebration – Gift Parade and Fireworks
Santa and his helpers have traveled around town the last few years delivering stockings full of goodies to the local children to spread holiday cheer! With a parade of local businesses, fire trucks, plow trucks and more decked out in holiday lights and themes this is truly a fun community event for everyone!
The Parade route then ended at Preston’s Festival Field on Springfield Road
where the annual Christmas Fireworks were displayed!
We had a great time with music, hot chocolate and parking spaces for all to view the fireworks. It has been so much fun the last few years we can’t wait to keep it going for years to come!
Wilmington Easter Parade
During COVID we took it upon ourselves as a town to make sure no one missed the Easter Bunny that year! The Easter Bunny drove around followed by a parade of local businesses, fire trucks and more to deliver special goodies to all of our town children!

Wilmington Town Dinner
An annual tradition that gives us an opportunity to get together as a community to welcome the new members of town as well as to honor Citizen of the Year!
Enjoy an evening of music, great food, socializing with old friends and meeting your new neighbors. Stay tuned for this year’s date!
Wilmington Summer Beach Concert Series
All summer long we get together and enjoy live music together at Lake Everest Beach on Thursday evenings! We have had some great bands in the past and look forward to another awesome summer ahead! If you want to get on the performance list please contact our town offices for more information!
Trunk Or Treat
Since the COVID pandemic limited our local communities ability to allow trick or treating we organized a safe, socially distanced event at the local KOA where local businesses and families set up their trunk or treat sites for the kids to enjoy! It has proven to become one of the town’s most popular and favorite events drawing families from all over the area! We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come!
Festival of Colors
Every fall we get together to celebrate the changing of the seasons, the beauty of our town and all of the local businesses that make our town special! We have a one day festival filled with events for the children, food, music, shopping and more! Join us, we would love to have you!
